In a season of longing for spaciousness in my life, I read Psalm 18:19 which says-

He brought me into a spacious place; He rescued me because he delighted in me.

After months of praying for spaciousness in my own life, I sensed a deep desire to help others find spacious places for healing and transformation through Jesus. A Spacious Place was formed in 2018 out of that desire.

I completed my spiritual director training in May 2017 and graduated with my Masters in Spiritual Formation and Direction at Evangelical Seminary in May 2018.

I am married to Duane who works as a theatre set builder at Sight and Sound Theatres. My days are filled with homeschooling our three teenagers and driving them back and forth from their jobs. We live in Lancaster County, PA where we worship and are actively involved with a small church that welcomes people into a safe and healing community where they can grow to be more like Jesus and extend his kingdom to the world.
